"If you should visit Astaria, be sure not to pass up the Garden of Hasath in the Lanes of Honey where they grow the most entrancing 'blooms'."
Lotus Dancers emerged as interpreters of the heavenly spheres. They capture this otherworldly music through singing and dancing encouraged by the haze of lotus smoke harvested from sacred riverbed gardens. Though their music isn't necessarily religious, they are respected more as a pure form of art unimpeded by logic and existing for its own sake and the soothing effect it has on its patrons.
The Dancers themselves fashion their jewelry and wardrobe after the river flowers, the Lotus being the most prestigious player in any troupe.
